Reality of spirituality is a book
much needed for the people today. It focuses on the true meaning of
spirituality and also takes in account all the religions that influence our
faith in God and our inner self. While reading, it compelled me to sit back and
think about myself and how I am spiritually influencing the world around me. It
provoked me to question the blind beliefs I have been living it. When I was
done reading, I was a different kind of person walking out of this splendid
reading experience that has changed me substantially. Contrary to other
non-fiction books, that I have read and mostly fell sleeping in the middle,
this reading experience was actually more alive and enlightening. It will tell
you about the spiritual and social illusions. It also has an element of humour
that makes you grab the crux of entire thing effortlessly from sexuality to homosexuality,
from women to God, from beginning to the Judgement day. The references from
various religious texts, given in the book do prove that no religion teaches a
life of hatred or destruction. This book makes a marvellous read about human
kind and kindness. The foreword by Yogesh Mohan Singla bears a heart touching wave that lets you peek into the author's life as well.
The flow of the book is more modern
than the traditional religious languages, which makes it interesting for people
of all walks to easily understand it. Youth today can benefit a lot from this
book and help in the making of a beautiful and peaceful world. The world doesn’t
need more religion, it needs people to respect each other’s religion, beliefs
and take the best out of them while discarding the bad elements. I recommend
this book to everyone.
The designing and cover of the book is exquisite and pleasing to the eyes completely going with the quote "I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best - Oscar Wilde". The interior of the book is well presented and designed.
